Auction Bid Assistant

Install Auction Bid Assistant

Search 7 auction platforms at once, save lots as you browse, export as PDF โ€” free for Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

What does it do? The extension searches 7 auction platforms simultaneously (the-saleroom, EasyLive, eBay, Invaluable, NumisBids, iCollector and LiveAuctionWorld) from a single popup. It adds a ๐Ÿ”จ Save Lot button letting you save lots from all 7 platforms, search results and Featured Auction catalogues โ€” export your shortlist as PDF or CSV. It never modifies pages or places bids.

Common Questions

Does the extension place bids for me?

No. It only reads publicly visible data from the auction page โ€” the asking price and lot number. You still bid on the auction platform as normal. The app is a visual calculator.

Which browsers are supported?

Firefox, Chrome, and Safari on macOS โ€” all free, all one-click installs from their respective stores. Firefox is recommended as the easiest. The app itself works on all browsers and devices without the extension; you just update the current bid manually instead of having it auto-update.

I use Safari on Mac. How do I install?

Install from the Mac App Store โ€” one click, then enable the extension in Safari โ†’ Settings โ†’ Extensions. macOS only; an iOS version is in development.

Which auction platforms does it work with?

For search: the-saleroom, EasyLive, eBay, Invaluable, NumisBids, iCollector and LiveAuctionWorld โ€” all searched simultaneously. For the Save Lot button while browsing: the-saleroom.com and EasyLive. You can also save lots from search results and Featured Auction catalogues on any platform. The live bridge (optional) works with the-saleroom.com and EasyLive. More platforms are being added regularly.

Why is the Bridge indicator grey?

Make sure: (1) the extension is installed and enabled, (2) you have the auction site open in another tab in the same browser window, (3) the auction page has finished loading. The bridge sends a heartbeat every 3 seconds โ€” wait a moment and it should turn green.

The Chrome extension disappeared after restarting

Chrome Web Store extensions update automatically and stay enabled after restarts. If it has disappeared, just reinstall it from the Chrome Web Store.

Is my data safe?

All data stays in your browser. The extension never sends anything to any server, never accesses your login credentials, and never modifies any web page. Read the full privacy policy โ†’
